Gran Turismo 6 gameplay from the National A 4WD Challenge series. Three laps of the Brands Hatch indie circuit for the first race of three and I brought a hairdresser's car to the party!
The Audi TT isn't a terrible car by any means but it's not the greatest either. It is surprisingly underpowered in untuned form and has some weird handling traits, particularly under braking where it can catch you out on anything other than a smooth flat surface. Like many 4WD/AWD cars it also tends to understeer quite markedly, a lot worse in fact than many others in the game although not consistently.
However, I wanted to do these races with something other than the predictable Mitsubishi or Subaru variations so, the hairdresser's car got a chance to show what it could do.
The verdict...a capable rather than brilliant car, fast enough for this level of racing, with a few quirky handling issues, but, all that aside, I did actually quite enjoy driving it. Now......pass me the shampoo and scissors!
